The Chenin Blanc is straight-forward and clean in its taste, with apples and citrus on the nose, good acidity and nice balance on the palate. Nothing earth-shattering here — but for fans of Chenin Blanc this is a fine basic example, very drinkable and refreshing. It went well with a scallops dish during a recent meal. A very good buy for around $6-8 at my local World Market.
